While there are a plethora of options when it comes to choosing a wedding cake, each cake’s total cost can be most simply broken down into a few categories:
Is your dream cake 2 tiers? Three? Don’t rule this out because you think your budget is too small; there are creative options that we offer to get you what you’d like!
How many people do you need to feed? While most brides assume this will directly correlate to the height of their cake, this is not always the case.
Do you prefer a simple frosting or a naked cake? Or would you like a marble design and gold flakes? We love when brides come in with Pinterest inspirations!
You don’t have to feed everyone with the tiered cake. You can get a tiered cake that works size-wise for your aesthetic, then purchase individual cakes that are in the back for slices. You can also add fake tiers to make your cake bigger if you’d like at a fraction of the cost.
There are also many options beyond the traditional cakes: fake tiered cakes, individual cakes, cupcakes, dessert bars, and more.
2-tier cakes are $5.95/slice. 3-tier cakes are $6.95/slice.
Like the look of tiered cake but don’t need that much cake? Substitute a cake tier for a false tier for $40. For example, a 2-tier, 6″ + 8″ cake would cost $190.40 plus the decoration fee. If you’d like just the bottom 8″ tier in cake, and a fake 6″ tier, your cost would be $55 for the 8″ single cake + $40 fake tier = $95, plus the decoration fee.
